One Lane Traffic on K Rd and L 15 Ln in September/October

Attention Ford River Residents
Our Township has recently received a grant of $ 189,000.00 from the Michigan Department of EGLE for sample testing our Township Water system for possible lead service connections to help us comply with EGLE requirements. The work will consist of digging and exposing water line connections at various sites throughout the water system.
Work is scheduled to start September 23, 2024 and be completed around October 11,2024.
During this period there may be one lane traffic on K Rd and L.15 Ln and shoulder closures on Hwy M35 with reduced speeds. Please drive carefully through these areas while work is being done for the safety of everyone.  Thank you
